Dr. Alfred Ang is a PMP-certified project manager and a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who combines formal project management discipline with hands-on delivery experience. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, an MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from NTU and a BSc (Hons) in Physics from NUS, and spent more than 20 years in the defence, electronics and semiconductor industries, where he co-invented more than 20 US patents and published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers. Today he is the Chief Technology Officer of Tertiary Infotech Academy and founded Tertiary Infotech Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia in 2016. As CTO he leads the planning, delivery and continuous release of the course-registration and learning management platform behind the Tertiary Courses websites in Singapore, Malaysia and Ghana, coordinating developers, trainers and operations staff across three countries. That work runs on clear scope, realistic schedules, risk control and steady stakeholder communication, which is exactly what he teaches. A Distinguished Toastmaster who has won many public speaking awards, he explains structured methods in a clear, engaging way and keeps every session practical.
In the Agile Project Management Masterclass, Dr. Ang draws on the way he delivers software in short, user-driven increments. Learners compare predictive and agile approaches, explore the Agile Manifesto and its principles, and work with Scrum and Kanban practices such as backlogs, user stories, estimation, sprints, boards, retrospectives and continuous improvement. As a PMP-certified project manager he also shows how agile teams work within wider governance, budgets and reporting, so learners can introduce agile ways of working in real organisations.
Truman Ng is a PMP-certified project manager and ITIL v3 practitioner with more than two decades of experience delivering technology projects. As a network architect for Hewlett Packard he worked within a US-based virtual team on network design and implementation projects in the United States, and as founder of Nexplore (S) Pte Ltd he has delivered cloud, software-defined networking, VoIP and internet security projects for clients. He completed more than 100 IT network projects for banks, hotels and factories within five years, each with its own scope, schedule, budget and stakeholders, and Huawei's Global Training Center engaged him for more than 60 consultations and training engagements for internet service providers in Malaysia and many other countries. An Electrical Engineering graduate of the National University of Singapore and an ACTA-certified adult trainer, he brings the practical side of delivery, from managing vendors and site teams to keeping clients informed, into the classroom.
On this course, Truman shares how iterative delivery works on technical projects, where requirements shift, vendors and engineers must stay coordinated and stakeholders want frequent visibility of progress. He helps learners apply agile ceremonies, backlogs and boards in a practical way, and combine them with the planning and control that PMP practice brings.
Saeid is co-founder of Skymics Sdn Bhd. He has 8 years of experience in the field of IoT (Internet of Things) and Information Technology. He is a certified IBM IoT Practitioner and instructor, and a Certified Citizen Data Scientist Train-The-Trainer. He has been co-inventor of 3 inventions during the last 4 years.
