n8n is one of the platforms Dr. Alfred Ang reaches for most often when building agentic AI quickly. Dr. Ang is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, the Singapore training organisation behind Tertiary Courses. Dr. Ang's n8n projects cover a wide range of real use cases. Two RAG chatbot demos let users upload PDFs or course brochures and then ask a Telegram or web-based AI agent questions answered from those documents. A self-service HR portal handles leave applications with human-in-the-loop manager approval and includes an OpenAI chatbot guarded by input and output guardrails. An inventory forecasting agent runs on a local language model through Ollama to audit stock and predict replenishment, while a stock-analysis dashboard connects to a Telegram AI agent for market questions. Dr. Ang also built an investment advisor chatbot, an email automation workflow adapted for the Tertiary Courses teams in Malaysia and Ghana, and a low-code, self-hosted IoT platform that uses n8n to connect and control Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi devices. These projects sit within a public GitHub portfolio of more than 300 repositories. Few trainers can show as many working n8n agents across HR, finance, operations and customer service, which is exactly the breadth this course draws on. Many of these workflows were assembled visually in hours rather than weeks, which is the central promise of no-code agentic AI that this course helps learners realise for themselves.
No Code and Low Code Agentic AI Applications turns that collection into a guided build experience. In the first topic, learners develop no-code agentic workflows in n8n using visual nodes, triggers and AI agent blocks, connecting a language model to tools such as email, spreadsheets and chat apps without writing code. The second topic introduces low-code techniques, where small expressions and code nodes extend workflows to transform data, call APIs and apply business logic that visual nodes alone cannot handle. The third topic explores real-life applications of agentic workflows, and here Dr. Ang walks through examples modelled on working builds: a document question-answering chatbot, an approval flow with a human checkpoint, an operations agent that monitors data and raises alerts, and a messaging assistant for customer enquiries. Throughout the course, Dr. Ang emphasises the design decisions that make agents dependable in practice, such as giving each agent a narrow purpose, adding guardrails, logging every run and keeping a person in the loop for consequential actions. The style is hands-on, with participants building and testing their own workflows during class rather than watching slides. Business users, operations staff and aspiring automation builders leave with functioning agents and the confidence to automate further processes at work. Dr. Ang also shows how to self-host or use cloud versions of n8n, how to manage credentials safely and how to monitor executions, so learners can keep their workflows running reliably after the course.
