- Determine when to use standard, virtual, or elastic tables vs. connectors
- Assess impact of Power Platform security features (DLP, security roles, teams, business units, row sharing) and design reusable components, custom connectors, Dataverse code components, automations, and integrations
Domain 2 Build Power Platform solutions (12.5%)
- Troubleshoot operational security issues
- Configure Dataverse security roles to support code components (least privilege)
- Manage Power Platform environments for development
- Manage solution dependencies and solution layers
- Create and use environment variables
- Implement/extend Power Platform Pipelines and CI/CD automations using Power Platform Build Tools
Domain 3 Implement Power Apps improvements (12.5%)
- Implement complex Power Fx formulas and functions
- Build reusable component libraries
- Utilize Power Automate cloud flows to implement business logic from a canvas app
- Troubleshoot canvas and model-driven app issues using Monitor and browser-based debugging tools
- Optimize canvas app performance (pre-loading data, query delegation)
- Optimize model-driven app performance (forms and views)
Domain 4 Extend the user experience (12.5%)
- Build JavaScript code targeting the Client API object model and determine event handler registration approach
