Generative AI for Adobe Photoshop teaches you how to use Adobe Firefly and the generative AI features built into Photoshop to create, edit and enhance images in a fraction of the usual time. Features such as Generative Fill, Generative Expand and text-to-image let you add or remove objects, extend backgrounds and produce original visuals from a simple text prompt. The course is designed for designers, marketers, photographers, content creators and anyone who produces visual content for print, web or social media.

You will begin with generative AI for visual communication, exploring how AI image tools work, what they do well and how to write prompts that deliver the look you want. Next you will work in Adobe Firefly to generate images, text effects and style variations, and learn how to choose and refine the best results. You will then move into Photoshop, using Generative Fill and Generative Expand to remove distractions, swap backgrounds, add new elements and extend compositions while keeping lighting and perspective consistent.

The final topic covers adjusting AI images so they are ready for real projects: combining generative layers with selections, masks, adjustment layers and retouching tools, and preparing files for different output formats. You will also learn about responsible use, content credentials and the commercial safety of Firefly-generated content. By the end, you will be able to blend traditional Photoshop skills with generative AI to produce professional, on-brand images quickly and confidently.

Visual content is one of the most practical places to apply generative AI, and Dr. Alfred Ang has built a surprising amount of it. Dr. Ang is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, the Singapore training organisation behind Tertiary Courses. Working end to end across front ends, back ends, databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps, Dr. Ang has produced a wide range of image and media projects. A logo maker generates three design options from a written description using Gemini or OpenAI image models. A video creation tool turns any topic into a narrated video with AI-written scripts, voiceover and animated scenes, while an automated YouTube production pipeline uses an agent to research, script and assemble videos from simple topic requests. A lip-sync demo turns a portrait and a script into a talking avatar, and a digital-human service builds branded, voice-cloned avatars. On mobile, Dr. Ang has shipped a passport photo app on iOS and Android that removes backgrounds on the device and crops faces to official sizes, a Procreate-style sketching studio for iPhone and iPad, an offline fractal art generator and a document scanner with image enhancement filters.
