Tableau Masterclass teaches you how to turn data into clear, interactive visual stories with Tableau, one of the world's leading data visualisation and business intelligence tools. Tableau lets you connect to almost any data source, explore it visually and share dashboards that help decision-makers see what matters at a glance. The masterclass is designed for analysts, managers, business users and anyone who works with data and wants to communicate insights more effectively.

You will start with basic Tableau features, connecting to data, understanding dimensions and measures, and building your first charts with drag-and-drop. Next you will cover data visualisation, creating bar, line, scatter, map and other chart types and applying best practices for colour, labels and layout. You will then learn data transformation in Tableau, including joins, relationships, unions, pivots, groups, sets and hierarchies, so your data is structured correctly for analysis.

The course continues with dashboards and stories, combining views into interactive dashboards with filters and actions, and building story points that guide your audience through your findings. You will also master calculations and parameters, including calculated fields, table calculations, level of detail expressions and what-if analysis, and finish with analytics features such as trend lines, forecasts and clustering. Every topic is hands-on. By the end, you will be able to design compelling, insightful dashboards in Tableau.

Saeid Alizadeh is a data analytics and visualisation specialist with more than eight years of hands-on experience in data processing, visualisation and analytics, and is a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate. He has trained Malaysian professionals in data analysis and data visualisation with Tertiary Infotech Sdn. Bhd. since 2016 and has been an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer since 2021, specialising in Power BI, Excel data analysis and Tableau. As Chief Technology Officer of Skymics Sdn. Bhd., a Kuala Lumpur MSC Malaysia-status IoT company, he leads solutions in which data from smart energy monitoring, smart plantation, smart building and environmental monitoring systems is collected, cleaned and turned into dashboards and decisions, and he has also worked on social media analytics and smart-city energy management projects. Earlier in his career he served as IT Director at World Wide Science. He is a Certified Citizen Data Scientist Train-the-Trainer and a certified IBM IoT Practitioner and Instructor, is co-inventor of three inventions, and holds an MBA in Information Technology from Multimedia University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Information Technology).

In the Tableau Masterclass, Saeid guides learners from first connection to finished dashboard. They cover basic Tableau features, build effective data visualisations, transform and prepare data, design dashboards and stories, create calculated fields and parameters, and apply Tableau's analytics features such as trend lines, forecasts and clustering. As a Tableau specialist who has built visual analytics for IoT monitoring and business reporting, he focuses on choosing the right chart, designing for the audience and telling a clear data story, so learners can publish dashboards that drive decisions.
