What's This Course About

Sustainability Reporting Masterclass equips senior leaders and professionals with the knowledge and practical strategies to develop credible sustainability and ESG reports that meet stakeholder and regulatory expectations. Sustainability reporting is fast becoming mandatory for listed companies and expected across supply chains, and investors, customers and employees increasingly judge organisations on their environmental, social and governance performance. The masterclass is designed for leaders, sustainability and ESG managers, finance and compliance professionals and business owners.

You will start with the foundations of sustainability and ESG, understanding the key concepts, global trends and why sustainability matters to business value and risk. Next you will explore ESG strategy, stakeholder engagement and materiality, identifying the issues that matter most to your organisation and its stakeholders and setting goals and targets. You will then cover sustainability reporting and ESG disclosure, working with frameworks and standards such as GRI, ISSB (IFRS S1 and S2) and TCFD, and learning how to collect data, measure performance and write clear, balanced disclosures.

The final topic covers the circular economy, sustainable supply chains and continuous improvement, including how to extend sustainability beyond your own operations and strengthen your reporting year on year. Case studies and practical exercises help you apply each topic to your own organisation. By the end of the masterclass, you will be able to plan and lead a sustainability reporting process that is credible, compliant and supports long-term business strategy.
