Python Fundamentals Masterclass gives you a solid, hands-on foundation in Python, one of the most versatile and widely used programming languages in the world. Python powers data analysis, automation, web development, artificial intelligence and much more, and its clean syntax makes it ideal for beginners. This masterclass is designed for complete beginners, career switchers, analysts and professionals who want to start programming or automate everyday tasks.

You will begin by getting started with Python, installing the tools, using an editor and Jupyter notebooks, and writing your first programs. Next you will learn Python data types, including numbers, strings, lists, tuples, dictionaries and sets, and how to work with each of them. You will then explore operators for arithmetic, comparison and logic, followed by control structures, including if statements, for and while loops, and list and dictionary comprehensions that let you write concise, readable code.

The later topics cover functions, where you will define your own reusable functions with parameters and return values, and modules and packages, where you will import Python's standard library and install third-party packages with pip. Every topic includes practical coding exercises that build on the previous one, so you steadily gain confidence, and you will also learn good habits for naming, commenting and organising your code. By the end of the masterclass, you will be able to write, read and debug Python programs and have a strong base for further study in data, automation or AI.
