What's This Course About

Business Transformation with OpenClaw Digital Employees shows you how to build and deploy a digital AI workforce using the OpenClaw agent platform. OpenClaw digital employees are autonomous AI agents that can take on defined roles, use tools, follow skills and work alongside your team to handle tasks such as research, reporting, customer communication and operations support. The course is designed for business leaders, operations managers, IT professionals and transformation teams who want to use AI agents to change how work gets done.

You will start by setting up the OpenClaw agent platform, installing and configuring it, connecting models, messaging channels and business tools, and creating your first digital employee with a clear role and instructions. Next you will develop OpenClaw agent skills and sub-agents, packaging repeatable work processes into reusable skills, delegating tasks to specialised sub-agents and orchestrating them so a team of digital employees can complete multi-step workflows together.

The final topic covers optimising and securing the OpenClaw digital workforce, including monitoring agent performance, improving reliability, managing permissions and data access, protecting against prompt injection and keeping humans in control of important decisions. Throughout the course you will apply OpenClaw to realistic business scenarios and identify where digital employees can deliver the greatest value. By the end, you will be able to plan, build, deploy and govern OpenClaw digital employees that drive real business transformation.

Running a training organisation in which AI agents already handle real work gives Dr. Alfred Ang an unusual vantage point on digital employees. Dr. Ang is CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, the Singapore organisation behind Tertiary Courses, and works as a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, building intelligent agents and business solutions end-to-end across front end, back end, databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps. More than 300 public repositories on GitHub record that work. One of the most relevant is a coaching simulator for redesigning jobs around accountable AI-agent ownership, which explores how roles change when agents take on defined responsibilities. Dr. Ang also built a self-hosted learning and training management system with AI agent automation, an automated video pipeline triggered by an agent webhook, and an ERP prototype where purchase orders pass through human-in-the-loop approvals by email, Asana and Telegram. Published Claude Code skills package repeatable expertise that agents can call on demand, much like the skills given to a digital employee, while an n8n inventory agent running on a local LLM shows how sensitive operational data can stay in-house. These projects reflect a consistent view that digital employees need clear roles, tools, skills and oversight to create value. Seeing agents take on real responsibilities inside a working business has also shown Dr. Ang the human side of transformation, including how staff respond to new digital colleagues, which tasks they are glad to hand over and where trust has to be earned gradually.

Business Transformation with OpenClaw Digital Employees turns that view into a practical programme for business leaders, operations managers, IT professionals and transformation teams. Dr. Ang starts with setting up the OpenClaw agent platform: installing and configuring it, connecting the channels and tools a digital employee needs, and defining the role it will play alongside the team. The second topic focuses on developing OpenClaw agent skills and sub-agents, so that each digital employee can follow reliable procedures for tasks such as research, reporting, customer communication and operations support, and delegate specialised work to sub-agents when needed. The third topic covers optimising and securing the digital workforce, including limiting permissions, protecting credentials, monitoring activity and cost, and deciding where a person must approve an action before it happens. Throughout the course, Dr. Ang connects the technology to the organisational questions that determine whether transformation succeeds, such as which roles to redesign first, how to measure results and how to build trust with staff who will work beside agents. Learners build and test their own digital employees during class, guided by live demonstrations and practical examples drawn from the projects above, and leave with a roadmap for a first deployment. Participants also discuss governance and change management, including how to communicate with staff, how to set service levels and escalation paths for digital employees, and how to review performance regularly so that the digital workforce remains aligned with business goals as the organisation grows.
