How to Apply HRD Corp Funding
This course is HRD Corp claimable for employers registered with HRD Corp, under the HRD Corp Claimable Courses scheme (SBL-Khas). Your company applies for the grant before the class; we submit the training provider claim after it.
- Check your levy balance - your company must be registered with HRD Corp and have enough levy balance to cover the course fee.
- Request a quotation - contact us for the quotation, course content and trainer profile; you attach these to the grant application.
- Apply for the grant in eTRiS before the class - log in to your employer eTRiS account, go to Application > Grant > Apply Grant, choose the scheme HRD Corp Claimable Courses (SBL-Khas), select us as the training provider and this course, add your trainees, attach the quotation, course content and trainer profile, and submit.
- Submit in time - for public classes, submit at least 3 calendar days before the class (15 June to 31 December 2026) and at least 14 days before from 1 January 2027; in-house classes need 14 days. The training must start within 90 days of that advance submission period.
- Send us the grant approval - once HRD Corp approves the application, email us the grant ID so we can confirm your seats.
- Attend the class - trainees sign the daily attendance (T3) form.
- Claim after the class - we submit the training provider claim in eTRiS with the attendance and invoice; you then complete the employer claim and sign the JD/14 form (manager level or above). Claims must be submitted within 6 months of the training.

Multi-agent architecture is where Dr. Alfred Ang's work as an Agentic AI solution architect is most visible. Dr. Ang is also a full-stack AI developer, corporate trainer and CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, the Singapore training organisation behind Tertiary Courses, and builds intelligent agents and scalable solutions end-to-end across front end, back end, databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps. More than 300 public repositories on GitHub document that practice, and several use Google's Gemini models directly. Dr. Ang built a no-code RAG demo in which a Telegram AI agent powered by Google Gemini answers questions from PDFs uploaded through a browser, a bakery course lead-magnet site with an n8n and Gemini course chatbot, and a logo generator that produces brand options with Gemini image generation. Streamlit features prominently too: Dr. Ang created a Claude-powered courseware generation platform on Streamlit and interactive Python and Streamlit labs for data mining and machine learning. Larger systems, such as a self-hosted learning and training management system with AI agent automation and an AI-powered CMS on the Claude Agent SDK, show how agents with different responsibilities can cooperate inside one application. That cross-framework experience helps learners understand which design choices transfer from one agent toolkit to another. Having built agents with several different frameworks and models, Dr. Ang can explain the trade-offs between them candidly, including when to use retrieval, when to split a task across agents and when a single well-designed agent with good tools is the simpler answer.
Building Multi Agent Applications with Gemini ADK draws on that experience to help developers, AI engineers, data scientists and technical professionals build multi-agent systems with Google's Agent Development Kit. Dr. Ang begins with an overview of agentic AI in Gemini ADK, explaining agents, tools, sessions and orchestration, and when a team of agents outperforms a single chatbot. In the second topic, learners build a multi-agent app, defining specialised agents, giving them tools and wiring a coordinator that routes tasks and combines results. The third topic covers agentic RAG in Gemini ADK, where an agent decides when to retrieve, searches a knowledge base and grounds its answers in the retrieved content, an approach Dr. Ang has applied in several RAG chatbots. The final topic builds a complete agentic AI application with Gemini ADK and Streamlit, giving the agents a clean user interface that can be demonstrated and deployed. Along the way, Dr. Ang shares practical guidance on structuring code, debugging agent behaviour, managing prompts and keeping costs predictable. The course is hands-on, with participants coding their own applications step by step and leaving with a working multi-agent project they can extend at work. Participants also explore how to evaluate agent quality with test cases, add guardrails that keep agents within scope and prepare an application for deployment to the cloud, so that what begins as a classroom prototype can realistically grow into a reliable application used by colleagues or customers.
