What's This Course About

AI Vibe Coding for Algorithmic Trading teaches you how to build, test and run algorithmic trading strategies in Python by directing AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude. You describe the strategy you want in plain English, review the code the AI writes and refine it until it does exactly what you intend. The course is designed for traders, investors, finance professionals and technical learners who want to automate trading ideas without needing to be expert programmers.

You will start by getting started with AI vibe coding for trading, setting up your tools, connecting to market data sources and learning how to prompt an AI assistant to write and explain Python code. Next you will analyse markets with AI, working with price and volume data, calculating returns and technical indicators such as moving averages, RSI and MACD, and visualising trends. You will then build and backtest strategies with AI, turning trading rules into code, measuring performance, drawdown and risk, and avoiding pitfalls such as overfitting and look-ahead bias.

The final topic covers automating and running trading with AI, including paper trading, connecting to a broker API, scheduling strategies and adding risk controls and logging. Throughout the course you will learn to verify AI-generated code carefully and keep human control over capital. The course is educational and does not provide financial advice. Every topic is hands-on. By the end, you will be able to develop and test algorithmic trading strategies efficiently with AI vibe coding.
