How Course Fees and HRD Corp Claims Work

Course fees

  • Standard public courses are generally RM1,100 per participant per training day.
  • In-house training for your team is quoted separately.
  • Certification, specialist and customised courses may have different fees. Please refer to the individual course page or request a quotation for the confirmed fee.
  • Course fees are shown before SST. 8% SST is added to the fee in the estimated total during registration (for example, RM1,100 + RM88 SST = RM1,188).

From booking to quotation

  1. Book online. Choose a course and date, and select Individual / Self-sponsored or Company-sponsored. No payment is collected online.
  2. Booking confirmation. You receive a booking confirmation email. It is not a quotation, invoice or confirmation that the class will proceed.
  3. We confirm availability. Our team checks the date and trainer availability, then contacts you.
  4. Documents for your grant application. Our team prepares and sends the quotation, trainer profile and course brochure (course content and training schedule), which your company uses to apply in its own e-TRiS account.

How the HRD Corp grant and claim work

  • Grant (before training): your company applies in e-TRiS and waits for approval. In-house training can start 14 days after approval; public training 3 days after approval (15 June – 31 December 2026), and 14 days from 1 January 2027.
  • Course-fee claim (after training): for physical classes, trainees sign the T3 attendance form on each training day. For online classes (Remote Online Training via Zoom), we prepare both the T3 form and the Zoom attendance report, which is certified by both the training provider and the employer; trainees' physical signatures are not required. We send you the JD14 declaration (and, for online classes, the Zoom attendance report) for certification by your manager-level officer or above. Once they are returned, we submit JD14 + T3 + our invoice to HRD Corp, together with the certified Zoom attendance report for online classes.
  • Your other claims: any other approved claimable items are submitted by your company after our course-fee claim is approved.
  • Deadline: all claims must be submitted within six months of the training completion date.

All our courses are HRD Corp claimable, subject to employer eligibility, available levy, grant approval and allowable costs. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. Full steps: HRD Corp grant and claim guide.
