Adecco Learns Microsoft 365 Copilot for Excel in One Day
Twelve learners from ADECCO STAFFING & OUTSOURCING SDN BHD joined Dr Alfred Ang in Kuala Lumpur on 12 October 2026 for Microsoft 365 Copilot for Excel. A key highlight: learning to build an interactive dashboard within 10 minutes using reusable skills through Microsoft Copilot.
Turning spreadsheet data into an interactive dashboard can feel like a substantial task. This corporate class brought that workflow into focus, connecting Excel fundamentals with reusable skills and rules that learners could apply with Copilot.

Hands-on corporate training in Kuala Lumpur
Dr Alfred Ang conducted the class for 12 participants at Menara EcoWorld, Level 8, 2, Jalan Hang Tuah, Bukit Bintang, City Centre, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. The session focused on using Microsoft 365 Copilot for practical Excel work and interactive dashboard creation.
Three topics, one connected workflow
Topic 1: Excel Fundamentals with Copilot
The class began with Excel fundamentals with Copilot, establishing the foundation for the dashboard work that followed. Understanding the spreadsheet remains central to deciding what the finished dashboard should communicate.
Topic 2: Skills and Rules
The second topic introduced skills and rules. The emphasis was on reuse: capturing instructions for a task so that learners could apply a consistent approach through Microsoft Copilot without starting from a blank prompt each time.
In this class workflow, reusable skills provide a repeatable way to approach the work, while rules set expectations for the output. Together, they help connect a request to the dashboard the learner wants to create.
Topic 3: Interactive Dashboards with Copilot, Skills and Rules
The final topic brought the earlier learning together. Participants learnt how to build interactive dashboards with Copilot, skills and rules, applying the reusable approach to a concrete reporting task.
Learning to build an interactive dashboard within 10 minutes
A standout part of the class was learning to create an interactive dashboard within 10 minutes using reusable skills through Microsoft Copilot. The value extends beyond speed: a reusable approach gives learners a starting point they can adapt for another dashboard task.
The class connected three ideas: understand the spreadsheet, define the skills and rules for the task, then use them with Copilot to build the dashboard. This gave the 12 learners a practical way to think about moving from Excel work to an interactive reporting experience.
